Precision Gear
Precision Gear was founded in 1970. Located in Twinsburg, Ohio, Precision Gear manufactures
highly specialized gears for the aviation, mining, defense, and industrial markets.
Using its engineering expertise, Precision Gear develops customized manufacturing
processes to ensure customer requirements are met. Manufacturing capabilities include
gear cutting, grinding, broaching, turning, deburring and final grinding to precise
tolerances. Precision Gear components are used in mission critical customer applications
and we have developed robust practices to ensure the highest level of quality.
Merit Gear
Founded in 1952 in Antigo, Wisconsin, Merit Gear is a customer-focused manufacturer of
high quality, custom precision gearing and specialized gearboxes. Merit Gear's in-house
heat treating facility and full service metallurgical laboratory provide a wide range
of heat treating capabilities including carburizing and hardening, quench and tempering,
nitriding, carbonitriding, induction hardening, annealing and stress relieving.

Located in Cleveland, OH, Skill offers a wide range of stamping
and assembly capabilities to meet its customer needs for precision metal components.
Formed in 1966, Skill specializes in large high precision stampings of up to 50” width.
Skill’s capabilities include in-die extrusion and tapping, stampings requiring a class
A surface and deep draw stampings. Skill has integrated sensor technology in its press
operations to provide high precision and exceptional quality. Using its capabilities
in engineering, in-house tooling development and manufacturing technology, Skill can
provide its customers with expedited delivery and improved time to market for its
component requirements.
